You probably know this, but I, Kolchak T Puggle am the product of a clandestine love affair between a pug and a beagle. They used to meet in sleazy motels in run down neighborhood where you can rent a room by the hour, before they went off to the respectable show-dog careers or home to their purebred families.
My litter is their dirty little secret.
In fact, my sister’s name registered with the Hyrbrid club is Dirty Little Secret and one of my brother’s was registered as No One Needs to Know. BOL, seems Mama-Beagle had a sense of humour and a lot of regrets.
Usually, we puggles are tan in nature.
Like this little puppiness available for adoption in Palo Alto, CA. No offense to my puggle buddies out there, but tan puggles are totally a dime a dozen. I mean sure, you’re still goofy and snuggley. You’re still awesome and all, but you’re beige like the department of motorvehicles. (Still cuter than 99.9% of all other dogs though!)
Sometimes, if your daddy-pug is one of the Batman wanna-be black coloured pugs then you end up with a dashing & charming black puggle (like myself) who is both suave and debonair.
But sometimes…sometimes you come across a tri-coloured puggle
And it’s like winning the lottery.
the Mama LOVES the elusive tri-coloured puggle. I am technically a tri, I guess, though Mama does not count me. I am black on my face, down my back and tail and on my legs. I am white on my chest and chin and I am sable on my sides. I know. You do the math. That’s three colours right? So what the BARK is the Mama’s problem? Does she seriously want to replace me with some rare, limited edition puggle with beagle markings? Naaaaaah. She’s rather attached to me!
Seriously, the tri-coloured puggles are adorable though.
Meet Bugsy, a two year old puggle from Paws for Life Animal League in Riverton, WY.
Isn’t he just adorable awful? All spotty and tri-coloured and cute?
Don’t even consider telling the Mama there is a tri-puggle up for adoption. I am the top dog ’round these parts and I *AM NOT* sharing my pawrents with some random puggle with a spot problem.
So, dear readers, we want one of you to offer sweet Bugsy a home. I mean, really, can you resist this dog?
According to the shelter:
He was brought to us by someone who had trapped him because he kept chasing their horses. Bugsy is obviously not a dog that belongs around livestock or horses. He was very scared when he came to the shelter and he would just sit in the back of the cage shaking. He became my buddy when I spoiled him with yummy turkey treats. He is just a little cutie that needs a forever home!
To find out more about Bugdy or to make him a member of your Call of Duty Clan Home, please contact the 307-857-6002 or visit the Paws for Life website.
Get your super rare, one of a kind, collectible puggle today. His name is Bugsy and the Mama wants you to adopt him, so that we don’t!
PS – TGIF! It’s been a long busy week at our house. Hopefully we can catch up on our blog reading this weekend!
