If I love your product, I love to bark about it. I always joke that people should send me things for all these great things I have to say ’cause that would be freaking sweet!

That’s how you know you’ve arrived, puppos. Very nice people from very nice places send you things to to try, They don’t even ask for much in return, just your 100% honest opinion. How neat is that? (Good thing we have lots of opinions around here, eh?)

BARKSTERS Krisps are a barking good treat!

BARKSTERS Krisps totally rocked my world. the Mama tried like 75 bazillion times to get a nice product shot, but they just smelled too darn good and I kept popping into the picture, trying to get a better sniff. We got to try two flavours: the Sweet Potato & Chicken and the Brown Rice & Beef, but they come in lots of great flavours to tickle your tastebuds. We think our hoof siblings would love the alfalfa ones!

What makes BARKSTERS Krisps so great?


I am super picky when it comes to my treats. The Mama always jokes that I will eat anything, but we discovered that was not true when we went to a movie in the park this weekend. A nice little girl gave me a “dog biscuit” and I wouldn’t touch it. I know the good stuff when I snarf it. My Mama didn’t raise no fool! I love BARKSTERS Krisps because:

• They smell awesome. The second the package arrived, I wanted into that box. Waiting until the Mama was ready was a HUGE chore and I gnawed the corner off of the mailing box in protest. the Mama likes that these treats smelled like real food, not like chemicals.
• Probably because they are made of food. I can pronounce every single one of the three ingredients. That’s right, just three ingredients. No preservatives. No additives. Just a carb, a protein and rice bran oil.  Rice bran oil is rich in natural vitamin E and gamma-oryzanol (an anti-oxidant). You know how the Mama feels about anti-oxidants.
• They get the Felix paw of approval. These treats are wheat and gluten-free, which means Mr. Allergic Mess over there can have them. (He also ADORES the Loving Pets Vegitopia Apple & Banana treats. Yumz.)
• They are air-puffed. These treats capture that same light and airy fun of popcorn, without actually containing corn (which is Public Enemy #1 at our house.). I love that BARKSTERS Krisps are crunchy and puffy all at the same time. I think I found my new go-to movie snack!
• They make the Mama more generous. No really! the Mama is usually really stingy with the snacks. She has been calling me Roly Poly again lately and apparently, I am headed for Koly & Kelly’s K9 Kamp. BARKSTERS Krisp have only 12 calories each, which means the Mama can afford to play Lord Bountiful.

BOL! I bet you thought I was going to tell you the Mama tasted them eh? Um, no. She was tempted though. They smelled pretty good, even to her. She tried to bully the Daddy into it, but he was having none of that. She does love them though because she is a real fan of what Loving Pets stands for. BARKSTERS Krisps are 100% Made in the USA. We are sure that places outside North America make some very *ahem* lovely treats, however, we are not allowed to eat them. We also love that all their ingredients come from US farms. They could use a whole lot more support. the Mama also loves their Tested in the USA program.
