Over at that Facebook place, the Mama shared a hot deal on tickets to the 8th Annual Vancouver Pet Expo, happening March  3 & 4th. Just $9 for 2 Adult passes! The humans from Casa de Kolchak are going – are your humans? (Pssssst – Not a facebook user, but want to buy tickets? Click here.)
We got a tasty package from Happy Yak Dog Chews. We’ll tell you all about it on a Tasty Tuesday post and we might even have some to give away as our “Treat of the Week!”
On Twitter, we learned that a dog in BC was killed in a head on collision because he wasn’t restrrained in the car. This makes us SO SAD because it is absolutely preventable. PLEASE, don’t take any chances. Buckle up for Safety. May we recommend a Kurgo Tru-fit Dog Harness or  an EzyDog Chestplate Harness with a Seat Belt Restraint? (affiliate links)

It’s a ball pit. For dogs. Is it wrong that I kind of hope she builds it?? And that  hope she tosses a few plastic Easter Eggs full of treats in there for me to find? That Pinterest has really gone to the dogs! Check out the other cool dog stuff we pinned this week.

You all remember the news anchor who suffered a dog bite on air? The Mama is so impressed by the poise and grace she has displayed in addressing the situation. If only more stories end this way, with a bunch of education and understanding.
Over at Dawg Business, Jana is continuing her awesome series on whole food nutrition. We are big believers of whole foods her at Casa de Kolchak, one of our favourite whole foods features the entire animal ground up – organs, bone and all. It’s the Felix’s absolute fav!
Inspired by Jack & AJ at Puplove, the Mama is practically obsessed with recreating this photo shoot! Do you think if I woof “expelliarmus” at the Mama, the camera will fly out of her hand?
