Kickin’ it with Koly
what we’ve been up to at Kol’s Notes this week
The Mama called me a Monster Mutt, but she made me some yummy Monster Mutt treats, so I forgive her.
We walked for about a million miles. I’m still tired.
We’re giving away some Tasty Treats. These snacks are made of 95% what every dog loves, **real meat**.
We’ve gone coco-nutty at Casa de Kolchak and we’re replacing our fish oil supplement with coconut oil. Find out why.
Where’s Koly?
things I woofed when I wasn’t here
Week three of or Pet Project 365 with Lulu and Wally has come and gone. I think we shared some really cute stuff over on our Project Koly & Fe board this week.
We’re Cooking with Dogs over at Two Little Cavaliers! This week the Mama satisfied her Chicken Salad craving and made some that was good for pups and their people. I like this healthy eating because it means the Mama shares her lunch!
Over on the Facebook, we told you about Bear, a seizure-assistance trained dog who needs a new person to help. Do you know that person? Click here to check out his Petfinder page.
We are all a-Twitter about the upcoming Academy Award Trivia Party hosted by All Things Dog.
That Crazy Dog Lady (aka the Mama) pinned some pretty woofing cool stuff to or Pinterest board.
I really wish she would do this to me, but she better not ever even woofing consider this.
Woofs from the Web
Woof worthy posts from all over the interwebs
On February 25, our friends Foley and Pocket want us to #OccupyMcDonalds. Anyone got a pit bull the Mama can borrow?
This week, I discovered the blog “When I Grow up I Want to Be a Vet” and it’s totally awesome. It brightens my day every single time I read it…and now the Mama is calling Grandma “Mrs. Mom”.
Yes, dogs live at our house. What tipped you off? Was it the beds and the dog hair? Here’s your sign. A woofing hilarious post from the Dog Lover’s Digest.
Jon Farleigh is so woofing cute. Those are my favourite three words too (and I’m not barking about “I love you”. Yo humans can save that sappy stuff for each other, thankyouverymuch.)
Great things were shared over at Dawg Business, one of our favourite canine health blogs. We can’t wait to find out if I am right-pawed or left pawed and we think every dog owner should read this post about what happens when you get “put under” with anesthesia.
Manitoba (a province in Canada, eh) outlawed Ear Cropping for cosmetic reasons. ♥With glowing hearts♥ We’re so proud of our fellow Canadians! Let’s keep this trend going!
And the woof just wouldn’t be complete without a few snacks from our fellow Canine Cuisine chefs who participated in our Tasty Tuesday blog hop!
Trail Mix for dogs? That sounds woofing delicious. Check out this fun and easy recipe.
Try the Cheesy Bites, they’re breath taking. *Kol’s note: We subbed in a grain-free/gluten free baking flour for the wheat four and quinoa for the cornmeal to make it Felix-friendly. That boy’s allergies are out of control!
This week’s woof is brought to you by My Brown Newfies, a fabulous dog blog who recently gave us the Kreativ Blogger Award and we totally missed it.
THANK YOU My Brown Newfies! We’ll post about it soon!
