It’s been an amazing four weeks.
And that is all because of you guys. Logging n to read your comments and the amazing number of fantastic bloggers that have linked up to our blog hops makes my heart song. You guys are simply the best (♫ doo, doo dooooo, do doo-doo! Better than aaaaaalllll the rest! ♪ Sorry, the Mama couldn’t help herself.)
For the last week of kamp, we wanted to celebrate all the cool things you guys do to stay fit.
Since we had spent the first three weeks sharing all of our ideas with you guys, we were kind of at a loss for what to do this week. Then we realized that the answer was obvious: we’d let all of you inspire us.
Like Bella and Pupfan at I Still Want More Puppies, we got out our rope toys and played tug of war. Kolchak Puggle is freakishly strong for a dog his size. Where the WOOF does that strength come from?! My arms were on fire after a few sessions with the rope.
Like Cinny, JR & Baby Pom at Whirlwind of Surprises, we went for a morning run together. It only took one morning to learn that the Felix s *not* interested in being a part of my shenanigans. BOL, that boy would rather be napping.
Like Kristine, her PH and Shiva at Rescued Insanity, we played Monkey in the Middle. Oh Monkey in the Middle, you kill me. Kolchak is an exceptional Monkey and he dominates the middle. I am not so good at being the outside. Kol s better at getting things than I am at keeping them away. BOL!
I thought of Desmond & Lauren at Life with Desmond as I did lunges while the coffee perked. You’re totally right. Only a crazy person does that.
Plus, baby cousin Lu is a giant ball of crazy and movement and energy.
He’s NUTS! The dogs at Casa de Kolchak had the zoomies for like 7 hours this weekend! OMD?! How do they even run for that long? Don’t they get tired? That puppy is a GREAT workout for the pups and the peeps. Squatting down to pick him up, change him around, carrying his lazy butt because he’s too little to walk all the way around the neighborhood. Want to loose 5 lbs? Get a Puppy with boundless energy.
For serious you guys, I am so touched that y’all took the time to kamp with us.
I hope you’ve gotten as much out of it as I have. I’m coming out of kamp with a renewed commitment to the fitness of myself – and of my dogs. Koly and are bonded together more than ever; plus working together like this has improved his listening and his behavior. Kamp has made us closer, healthier and happier.
We can’t wait to see what y’all got up to this week.
