We were serious fans of the tasty trachea chews and our friends, Deebo, Stitches, Vader, Mako & Mancha just loved the liver bites treats. They were tasty as woof and we couldn’t wait to get our paws on more Tasty things from this great pet company. (Wondering why we love them so darn much? We left off here, with a very satisfied Deebo, Stitches, Vader, Mako & Mancha waiting for the next tasty treat - SuperGravy.
Just what is SuperGravy? It’s a holistic instant gravy mix for dogs designed to add a powerful punch of flavour and nutrients to your dog’s regular kibbles. It’s great for those with decreased appetite due to illness or aging and it works to entice even the fussiest canines. We can’t give away all it’s secrets, but we can tell you it gets it yummy taste from healthy organ meats like liver and heart, two of Kolchak’s favourites, and it’s got all sorts of healthy bonuses like Omega 3s, anti-oxidants and “superveggies“.
Sounds like all good stuff right?
But what do the dogs think? Jamie says:
I waited a day to try the supergravy, just to let the excitement subside a bit. Again, with the exception of the new Doberman puppy, all of my dogs eat a little at a time and although I feed them a measured amount twice a day, they usually pick at their food throughout the day, and more often than not at least two bowls have food in them when it’s time to feed them again.
The supergravy also smelled really good. It looks like dried, shredded beef. The directions are to mix a scoop (which is provided) of the dry gravy with a couple scoops of warm water and mix it with their regular dog food. It coated the food really well.
I feed two of my dogs separately and the three older ones together. Stitches and Mako, who usually eat in their crates, bounded to their crates and waited anxiously for their food. The second the bowls hit the floor they were scarfing down food as fast as they could.
I fed the three older dogs together in the middle of my kitchen as a further test, because if I move their bowls around or mix them up when I wash them it usually takes a day or two for them to start eating normally again. Each dog ate the entire bowl of food right there on the spot, licked the bowl clean, and then stared up at me with big sad eyes, begging for more.
I think it’s safe to say the SuperGravy was a H-I-T!
