This time, he’s staying a whole week. I don’t even know what to do. I mean, he’s such…he’s such a…a BABY! Mama had to puppy proof the house, for woofing out loud. Do I need to be worried this dog is going to wreck the place?
That boy is a rebel without a cause!
This morning he killed one of Felix’s toys. He just killed it. I don’t think he even asked the Felix if he could play with it. Can you imagine the nerve? I won’t even look at the Felix’s toys without prior written approval and even then, let’s face it. It’s dicey.
Mama’s forgotten what it’s like to have a puppy in the house.
This thing doesn’t sit still. Ever. It’s like the Energizer Bunny. He just keeps going and going and going… Mama is trying to keep up, but it’s hard! And to make matters worse?
Felix is back to his old resource guarding tricks.
What’s the resource you ask? Me. Anytime the puppy gets near me, Felix loses his woofing mind. Felix, dude, I can handle myself, so just chill the woof out, eh?
the Mama is in over her head here.
And she knows it. That’s why tomorrow – and every week day until Aunty Ris comes back, Luey s going to daycare. I am crossing my paws that when he gets home tomorrow, he’s exhausted. Even if he is, that’s still a whole lot of hours to entertain a puppy.
Tell me, what’s your best tip for surviving a puppy in the house?
