The Stuff (aka Ingredients)
- 1 cup ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 cooked broccoli, finely diced
- 3/4 cup tapioca flour
- 3/4 cup potato flour
- (plus extra flour for rolling out dough)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup water
How We Do It (Instructions)
Preheat oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
In a bowl, mix together ground beef, cheese, broccoli, egg and water. Add flour a little at a time, incorporating into the beef mix.
Flour your counter with tapioca flour. Turn out half the dough onto the counter. Roll out to 1/8″ to 3/16″ thick. (If you roll them too thick, they will not bake in the center and your dog will be very disappointed.)
Use a cookie cutter to cut dough into shapes. Lay out the shapes on your lined baking sheet. Bake for 25 – 30 minutes, until the bottom of the dough is golden brown. Flip cookies and return to oven. Bake for an additional 25 – 30 minutes, until the dough is cooked though.
