All dog owners have one thing in common: we’ve all got poop bags.

(Well, we’ve all probably also got dog hair on our pants, a living room littered with stuffed toy carcasses and a variety of weird meat products in our pantries, but that is beside the point. We’re talking about poop bags. Get your head in the game.)  The real question isn’t whether you’ll have a bunch of poop bags around, its how you’ll choose to store them. Some people, like me, choose to keep them tucked away in a cupboard like our doggy command centre, but these other creative poop bag storage solutions kind of make me want to put them out for display.

We are absolutely IN LOVE with this super simple, totally brilliant solution from Rubicon Days. Just overturn a flower pot, feed the bags through the drainage hole and pullout as needed.

How stylish is this? You guys, it’s a Pringles can! I am in DIY heaven with this simple project from Krafty Kay that uses Mod Podge (<-affiliate link) and scrapbook paper to create a custom dispenser that matches your decor.

Make it easy for yourself and stash your spare bags right on your leash with this DIY Sewing project from Peace and Woof.

Sometimes, simplicity can be so lovely. Kimberly from Keep the Tail Wagging stores her brightly coloured bags with fun patterns in a clear glass vase.

I just found the poop bags I had in the dog storage area, all put in with my sandwich and storage bags since my husband doesn't want to bend down to get a bag. In the drawer I had lined and organized, stuffed full of the poop bags. It seems really disrespectful of how I organized the kitchen.

Darn! That's frustrating! Maybe there's a solution you could put by the door that might work for both of you?

I just throw the rolls in an old bag on the counter and grab them when I head out the door.

I don't buy cute poop bags; I just reuse produce bags from the grocery store. They stay in one of those little-old-lady plastic bag storage things. The end. I am so not crafty.

Me too! As soon as I saw it, I was like THAT IS BRILLIANT. I'm making over our deck right now and this is definitely going out there.

One time we went on a road trip and forget the poop bags. Ended up using sandwich baggies cos that's all she could find at a store along the way. Now I have a little plastic bone dispenser attached to my leash so they are never forgotten. The extra rolls stay in one of my dresser drawers next to my socks.

LOL, that has totally happened to us too and it sucks so bad. There's something about a clear bag that just makes it so much worse, isn't there??

I love that you have your whole own dresser. Would you care to take pictures and share them? I would love to feature that as a good Doggy Command Center option!
