The other night, Koly, Fe and I were melting in our ridiculously hot living room, when I had a sudden craving for Jello. Ah, jello – the wiggly, jiggly cool treat that is a summer staple for kids everywhere. Well, kids and ME. I love jello and I love coming up with fun new flavours.

Even my dogs love jello. Last year, we made an old school jello salad for dogs. This weekend, I tried a new jello recipe that I thought the dogs would LOVE: PEANUT BUTTER JELLO EASY DOG TREATS. For the record you guys, I accidentally tasted the peanut butter jello and let me tell you:

Once you’ve tasted peanut butter jello, you can never UN-taste it.

…and I sure didn’t enjoy it. Luckily, the dogs think this is pretty much the best treat ever and they are happy to help me use them all up.

My Brittany Bird Dog's hind legs stop working a couple months ago. We've been working with her night and day. She slowly has recovered. She went from being a lump to walking on all four legs and playing. She has good and bad days. I posted this because everyone told me to put her down. I just couldn't give up on her. I hope it doesn't happen to your baby, but if it does. Be patient.

She takes medicine twice a day. I've been using pill pockets, but they're so expensive. I like the jello idea better anyway. Thank you for posting this recipe.

My Felix had hind end issues and I can relate so much to how hard it can be to help them heal. I'm so glad you've found a way forward that works for you. Felix wouldn't have touched a pill pocket for anything, so it was nice to have alternatives :)

Oh I'm excited to try this for my girl; she's almost 11 yrs n was diagnosed with mega-esophagus and was regurgitating & throwing up all food and water lost so much weight. She now has to be fed in an upright position(a Bailey chair, like a dog high chair-made my own with waste basket sit her up and put a pillow in front of belly and set front paws on top of pillow) Will absolutely be making these as gelatin is a great wat to hydrate her since water wants to come back up. Thank you!

Hi! How long would these last? Do they need to be refrigerated the whole time? I'm holding a fundraiser for a local animal shelter this weekend, but it will be outside. Would these last for a while outside, or should I keep them in a cooler? Thanks!
