I have a confession.

I am a giant planner nerd.

I want to be one of those people with their handy e-calendar hidden in their phone, but the truth is, I love the feel of a paper day planner in my hand. The pen on the page, decorating each page with a fun theme, searching the interwebs for free printable planner stickers; I love everything about the process of paper planning.

I am not alone.

Paper planning is making a huge come back (or maybe, it was never truly gone). As it turns out, people are crazy passionate about their chosen planner. Kari at Hound Girl is an Erin Condren fanatic. Jessica at Beagles and Bargains and Kelsie at It’s Dog or Nothing swear by the Passion Planner. Christina at the Lazy Pitbull uses inserts from Sew Much Crafting. Carleen at Somepets has Kikki K, Kate Spade, and Plum Paper Planners (and I can’t even imagine how much she has going on to need all those!) No matter what you use it for, there is a planner out there for you. Me? I am a dedicated Me and My Big Ideas Happy Planner addict.

I like that the disc style binding is super flexible allowing me to add pages in, take entire months out when they’re over and always plan 18 month ahead, thanks to they’re 6 month expansion packs. (I know. I’m a crazy person for planning that far ahead. I understand.) The truth is, I’m basically useless without my planner. I have a memory like a sieve, crummy time management skills and the attention span of a drunk squirrel, so my planner keeps me centred and on task. Plus it’s pretty!

No matter what planner you use, us planner nerds will all tell you the same thing: one of the best parts about using your planner is decorating it! There is an entire blogosphere out there, a section on Etsy and website after website designed to help you make your planner beautiful.

What your planner needs is a little puggle.

Last year, AJ at the Art of AJ made me a custom puggle silhouette based on my sweet Kolchak. (Shut up, he’s sweet…sometimes.) I just *knew* that I needed to take that design and put it in my planner somehow.  This is the result.

I think my printer colour is a bit wonky because these printed more blue than turquoise, but I still love them.

Not to toot my own horn, but I think they’re pretty cute for my first try. I can’t wait to make more planner stickers to help myself get organized and stay organized.

Now, if you’re like me and you need a pretty planner, filled with enough sass as the dog who inspired this set, you can download these free puggle themed printable planner stickers. They are sized for my favourite planner – the original Happy Planner.

See the tiny paw prints? You guysthose are Koly’s actual paws! I know. It’s too cute. A few years ago I took his paw print for my tattoo and I just scanned that same ink print and shrunk it down to use here. I love it.

LOVE these! Especially the fact that you used Kol's actual pawprints. I have my Delia's pawprint tattooed on my wrist. I'm planning a trip to Michael's tomorrow afternoon to check out these planners. I'm obsessed with this kind of thing. Thanks for the info and for the awesome stickets!

Oh I love everything about this! I haven't found a planner that works for me yet, but I am going to try this one. I am impressed that you used Kol's paw print for your tattoo and glad you thought to use it for the stickers!

I have Kol's paw on one foot and Fe's on the other and LET ME TELL YOU. Getting the prints to do it was no walk in the park, lol. Why I thought covering my puggle puppy in ink was a good idea, I'll never fully understand, but I'm so happy with the result. I'm glad you like it too!

Love this! With my ho-hum Day Planner and Custom hardcover notebook from Shutterfly, I am now searching all these fun planner brands to see what's in store for me for 2017!

Planning is more fun when you love your planner. That is a fact.

I'm so with you... I just CAN'T switch to digital planning. I can't. I've tried, but my brain just doesn't work that way. I have to be able to see everything all laid out (and pretty) in front of me, particularly when it comes to task-management stuff. I feel like there's something about the act of physically writing, of putting pen to paper, that makes me more accountable. Now I can dress up my pages with Koly! :) Thanks for taking the time to put these together!

YES! I wrote it down. That means business. It's like some sort of mental block when it comes to e-planning, lol.

In true planner nerd girl style as soon as I see a new planner I feel like I have to give it a try. I always circle back to my trusty half-page ARC by Staples. The EC horizontal layout caught my eye so I am currently using. These stickers are perfect for a layout. Can't wait to have Kol's paw prints on my pages too :-)

How do you like the horizontal layout? That *almost* convinced me to switch to EC, but I just can't get behind spiral binding after the flexibility of disc bound. I used it for like 2 weeks before I gave it away.
