My Felix is one heck of a photogenic guy.
No matter what he’s doing, he makes it look good.
He even makes Zombie dog look cute as woof.
Can you just imagine how cute he would be if he would actually look at the camera?
I don’t know what the Felix’s problem is. All I want is a nice picture of my dogs looking at the camera. Can Felix do that? No! Apparently, that is asking way too much. The Felix is afraid the camera will steal his sol. It’s absolutely ridiculous.
My idea that we could get a nice Christmas was photo was a total pipe dream.
I should have known it was impossible, but like a child dreaming of Christmas, I had nothing but high hopes. It was (of course) a total disaster.
Felix, you stubborn little fluffball…you couldn’t give me one woofing photo?
Here are just a few of the gems from our photo shoot. Which one do you think I should use on the card, huh?
I’m partial to that last one.
It’s perfect, right? He’s looking at the camera; his eyes are open. I can see the tree….I wonder if there’s any way to Photoshop my chubby arm out of the shot, so it doesn’t look like I’m strangling him?
So, I need your advice…how do you solve a problem like the Felix?
Let’s face it, photographing Koly is easy. He’s food motivated. Wave a cookie at him and he’ll do anything. Felix is not food motivated. He doesn’t actually care if you have a cookie and you can pretty much woof right off if you think he’s going to work for one. Training him is…a challenge. I’ve had him since 2007 and he just recently mastered ‘sit’ and ‘come’. We’ve worked on it every day.
Does anyone have any great ideas on how to get him to sit, stay AND look at the camera?
I promise it won’t steal his soul.
