DIY Easter Photo Props for Dogs

Ha ha ha ha ha…lookit how mad Kolchak is. SO MAD! SO SO FUNNY! (Don’t worry, you guys, he was handsomely rewarded for his compliance with this photo shoot. Trust me, if he didn’t think it was worth it, he would never allow these shenanigans.)

Now, with such ridiculously adorable pictures of Kolchak, you don’t really think I would let Felix escape, do you?!

Oh woof no.

He looks thrilled right? You too can make your dog this happy and have darling Easter photos to bring you joy for years to come..

Here’s what you need:

  • 2 sheets of pastel coloured 12 x 12 scrapbook paper
  • 1 sheet of white scrapbook paper
  • scissors
  • markers or crayons
  • glue stick
  • tape

On a sheet of pastel scrapbook paper, sketch out a bunny face without ears. Since Felix is my fluffy boy I decided to make a fluffy bunny. Cut out the face shape and sketch in the edges with a gray marker or crayon. In the center of the bunny face, Cut out a hole for your dogs snout.

On the second sheet the pastel paper, Trace to bunny ears and cut them out. Feather the edges of the ears with marker as well. Use the pink marker to fill in the center of your bunny ears. Tape your bunny ears on to the bunny face and fold one over for a floppy look. Believe the eyes and chubby cheeks onto your bunny face.

Trace to eyes unto the sheet of white paper and cut them out. Outline the edges and fill in the eyeballs with your favorite color. Sketch some chubby bunny cheeks and teeth onto the white sheet of paper and cut out. Trace the cheeks in pink and add some dimples. Outline the teeth in gray.

Let your bunny dry completely and then TA DA! Hoppity hop, yo! Get ready for an Easter photo shoot!

Your dog can totally be this cute, all you have to do is make him a bunnyface.

Adorable! Don't let my girlfriend see this post otherwise all three dogs will end up Easter Eggs! That is if she hasn't already dressed them up. I saw rabbit ears in one of her shopping bags recently...
