One of the Canadian movie chains, Cineplex, is doing the coolest thing.
Every Saturday morning, they show a “family favourite” movie for dirt cheap. Tomorrow, they’re showing the Land Before Time.
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
I am so excited I can barely sleep. It’s 1 am and I’m still up, randomly giggling and quoting the movie. I’m pumped. This one one of my favourite movies as a kid, and for a long time, one of only two VHS tapes that we had for our (at the time) fancy high tech VCR.
I feel like Kolchak could learn a few lessons from Littlefoot.
For example, Littlefoot’s love for his Mother was pretty darned impressive. Check out this line from the movie.
Narrator: Littlefoot could only think about his mother. He hardly noticed his hunger and had forgotten about the Great Valley and that he must somehow reach it.
Can you imagine Kolchak forgetting he was hungry?
Yeah right! If I’m in a room and there is food, the most I can hope for is that he doesn’t trample me in his quest to consume it.
Take note Koly: Be less like a pig and more like a longneck, otherwise, I might let a sharptooth eat you.
Just kidding.
Sort of.
Now let’s go have some green food.
Happy Saturday Everybody :0)
