How do I love thee?
Let me count the ways.”I am a peanut butter FANATIC! I makes me crazy! CRAZY and I love *literally* everything about it. Had I thought of it yesterday, I would have asked Peanut Butter to be my Valentine.
It certainly would have made a better Valentine than my Mom did. She went to the gym, made a green bean salad and then went to bed. Some holiday Mom! Where was the romance? The fun? The joie de vie??
I love peanut butter. I love pup cakes. Which is why I LOVE IT, when Mom makes Nutter Butter Puppy Cakes. Your Mom should make them too. If she loves you, she will.
*1 cup Red Mill Gluten Free Baking Mix (or if your dog is grain/gluten tolerant All Purpose Flour)
*1 teaspoon baking soda
*1/2 cup natural, unsweetened peanut butter
*1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
*1 cup shredded apple
*1 teaspoon vanilla
*1/3 cup honey
Preheat oven to 350F.
In a medium bowl, combine Flour and baking soda. In a separate bowl, combine peanut butter, apple sauce, vanilla, honey and shredded apple. In a small dish, beat egg until frothy and add to wet mixture. Stir well and add to dry ingredients. Mix well.
Muffin Tins and dust with flour. Pour in cake mix. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Frost with peanut butter.
