I’ve been trying to add dog friendly touches to my decor without going overboard.
I love photos and my house is filled with frames. I love the idea of using tennis balls in fun ways and I saw this super cute idea for a photo frame on a craft forum, but I had one problem.
When I made it, it fell over.
It fell over all the time and it was driving me crazy. I knew something had to be done to stabilize it. You can do it too.
Here’s what you need:
- Tennis Ball
- Flat head screw or bolt ( I chose a super heavy duty one, but to be honest? It was over kill. You could totally get away with a less hefty screw.)
Carefully twist the flat head screw into the bottom of your ball.
Using a sharp knife or hand saw, slice an opening into the opposite side of the ball.
Gently compress the sides of the ball and insert a photo.
Display in your favourite spot with a picture of your favourite pup!

Hey! this is perfect! Esp. since both Brooks and Ike love(d) their tennis balls, it would make a fitting photo holder. And it fits my (lack of) skill! Thanks!

You could probably glue an old bottle cap to the bottom too, if you were say.....missing a screw or something. ;-)

Just be careful if a retriever comes to visit, they will take off with the ball AND photo ;)

Moo Shoo is my fav. LOL, when I bought my new mattress, I (my Mom) made the guy throw him in with the purhase even though he "wasn't for sale".
